Does it cost anything?
No. Every conversion is free, with no daily limit and no countdown before a download. The coffee button is optional and unlocks nothing, it is just a way to say thanks.
Can I download the video, or only the audio?
Both. Use the format dropdown next to Convert to pick MP3 for audio or MP4 for the full video. The homepage starts on MP3 and the YouTube to MP4 page starts on MP4.
Is there an app to download?
There is not. YTMP3 runs entirely in your browser, so there is nothing to install and no account to make.
What quality do I get?
MP3 audio saves at 128 kbps, and MP4 video saves in 720p HD. Both keep files a sensible size while looking and sounding clean on everyday devices.
What is the longest video I can convert?
MP3 audio up to four hours, and MP4 video up to 90 minutes. For longer videos or higher quality, our main site EzConv goes further.
A video would not convert. Why?
Live streams, age restricted videos, and anything over the length limit cannot be converted. Otherwise, check that the link is a standard YouTube video address.
Where does the file end up?
In your device's normal downloads folder. From there you can move it into your music app, gallery, or player.
Is it safe to use?
Yes. Nothing is installed on your device and no account is created. You get a plain MP3 or MP4 file and nothing else.
