DMCA and Copyright

YTMP3 takes copyright seriously. We keep no catalogue of songs or videos and we upload nothing ourselves: the tool simply converts whatever link a visitor pastes in, and the resulting file is wiped automatically soon after. That said, if your work has been run through the service and you want it dealt with, a valid request will be actioned.

Filing a notice

Send an email to [email protected] with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line, and include enough for us to identify and act on it:

• Who you are, how to reach you, and which rights holder you act for.
• The work being infringed, plus the exact YouTube link or file involved.
• A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the owner, an agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act.
• Your signature, physical or electronic.

Our response

Valid notices are handled quickly. Because converted files already delete themselves after a short time, most cases simply come down to stopping a specific video from being converted again, which we can arrange.

Disagree with a removal?

If you think something was taken down by mistake, reply to the same address with a counter notice that explains why, along with your contact details, and we will look into it.
